In an interview to air Sunday on the NFL Network, New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre praised Aaron Rodgers' debut performance

"He played extremely well," Favre said about Rodgers. "He played well under a lot of pressure, but I'm not surprised by it. . . . He's got tremendous talent. He watched and learned from me, and that's good and bad."

NFL Network analyst Steve Mariucci interviewed Favre and Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum.

Mariucci asked Tannenbaum how he pitched his organization to Favre.

"We have a lot of good people here," Tannenbaum said he told Favre. "We have a good football team . . . .You'll fit in really well and you'll be hunting in 15 minutes."

The interview is to air at 9 a.m. on the NFL Network show "NFL GameDay Morning."

I'm not sure where to post this. Packers, Brett? EEK! So, we'll post it here and see what happens.

No, he couldn't have said nothing.

Had he said "no comment" or something, the media would have jumped all over it. "Favre declines to talk about successor's success!" and whatnot. Despite what it looks like, he knows what he's doing with the media.

Yah... Yah... Yah. Good Speach.

Even Jeffery Dahmer had good things to say about the people he worked with in Wisconsin.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
