And in the end.....after all........BF only won one SB in his 16 years here. So if QB Aaron Rodgers can at least equal that, i think it would be a big plus. And who knows.......he might just do it, or more if we are lucky!

Cheesey why would you even bring up Super Bowl Wins to compare qbs? So in your mind Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson and so on are better then the likes of Dan Marino?

Super Bowls are won with defense and a solid offense (even when we won our Super Bowl we had a great defense) But your right i will never compare Brett and Rodgers it's not fair to Rodgers and to me its a slap in the face to Brett. To many different factors for it.

OMG i can't belive i typed that i don't like Rodgers and i kinda made a positive point about him lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Finally watched the video.

I don't understand what the fuss is about. BF was giving Aaron Rodgers compliment after compliment. I think there are people out here who just hate BF .

Well after reading alot of posts, alot of people are making Rodgers the MVP of the league already and the SuperBowl MVP. C'mon guys gimmie a break he played 2 games againt 2 very very weak pass defenses. I for one can't stand Rodgers but will admit he has played well, but wait before you crown him as god please. I will say this; in chat during the Lions game i was chuckling because when Rodgers was struggling for that quarter or so alot of people sure turned on him fast, is this what we get to put up with all year? But getting back to the reason of the thread i will say that it was Brett being Brett and saying what he thinks and not whats politically correct like Rodgers does(but then again Brett don't have ARI).

I just want the Packers to win we are 1/2 way to my total win predictions for the year so go Pack

I don't have any problem having an intelligent quarterback, with a rocket arm, very good accuracy, consistently takes care of the football, put the team on his back for a Lombardi, has played entire career with only one blue chip talent on the OL, and played without a legitimate #1 receiver.

Why we have a few posters bust his nads game in and game out is beyond me, but whatever!

I was one who was so ecstatic with this move I was beside myself. Aaron was the best college QB I'd ever seen from a pure passing perspective. I loved his old over the top Tedford motion that has since been altered but he was truly a thing of beauty when he tossed the ball back at Cal.

Some of my buddies in Wisconsin would laugh when I told them the Packers were going to be better with Aaron than we ever were with Brett. It was fun to see them admit that was the case a few years down the road.

Now, I couldn't stand what I saw from Aaron last year. He was a whiny little B on the field and that's totally unbecoming. I realize how frustrated he must've been but an MVP doesn't act like that.

Hoping he finds himself, again, and uses that chip and plays us to a championship. I just hope he gets some more help.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

buckeyepackfan (8h) : I forgot, they corrected the call a week later. Lol btw HAPPY BIRTHDAY dhazer!
buckeyepackfan (8h) : That brings up the question, why wasn't Nixon down by contact? I think that was the point Kanata was making.
buckeyepackfan (8h) : Turnovers rule, win the turnover battle, win the game.
packerfanoutwest (8h) : well, he was
TheKanataThrilla (8h) : Eagles down by contact on the fumble....fuck you NFL
Mucky Tundra (9h) : I think this games over
beast (9h) : Eagles sure get a lot of fumbles on kickoffs
Mucky Tundra (9h) : This game looks too big for Washington
packerfanoutwest (13h) : that being said, The Ravens are the Browns
packerfanoutwest (13h) : Browns, Dolphins have longest AFC Championship droughts
packerfanoutwest (13h) : As of today, Cowboys have longest NFC Championship drought,
beast (26-Jan) : Someone pointed out, with Raiders hiring Carroll, the division games between Carroll and Jim Harbaugh are back on (who can whine more games)
beast (26-Jan) : I'm confused, Pete Carroll and Brian Schottenheimer? When Todd Monken, Joe Brady, Kellen Moore, Kliff Kingsbury and Zac Robinson are availab

Zero2Cool (24-Jan) : Raiders hired someone from the elderly home.
dfosterf (24-Jan) : I'm going with a combination of the two.

Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Aaron Glenn Planning To Take Jets HC Job
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Martha- C'est mon boulot! 😁
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Thank you

wpr (22-Jan) : Beast- back to yesterday, I CAN say OSU your have been Michigan IF the odds of making the playoffs were more urgent.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Glad to hear you are feeling a bit better.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : I've been near death ill last several days, finally feel less dead and site issues.
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : It is a big deal. This host is having issues. It's frustrating.
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : just kidding...it was down
Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
