Wasn't it Shanahan that forced Terrel Davis to play despite a migraine that was so bad he was temporarily blind?

That has to have SOMETHING to do with it.

Most of the blame goes on RGIII's shoulders. That said, Mike should have seen that he wasn't himself and put in Cousins. It's not like Cousins is a terrible QB, AND they had the lead.

Pack 93 had an excellent post - are we calling out Frazier for leaving J. Allen in games, what about Garrett with Bryant, or McCarthy with Nelson's repeated hamstring injuries? How many people were clammoring for this when RG3 beat the hated Cowboys? He was hurt then too and was a shadow of his previous self.

Should they fire him? No, that was the Redskins first division title in years.
Should they blame him for killing this season, possibly the next and hurting the franchise's future? Yes.

After seeing RG III limping around in that run play early in the 4th quarter, it was obvious that he was not the best option to win this game for the Skins. Shanahan should have benched him at that time the latest. Cousins didn't win a playoff game yet, nor did RG III, but Kirk showed to be capable of being a serviceable back-up, and throw passes, something that RG III in his pain didn't get done anymore.

Now, according to recent reports, he suffered at least a partially torn LCL and ACL. If it stays as that, he might be ready for the next season, more likely he'll miss a bunch of next season. Plus his carreer health is not getting better with multiple severe injuries like that.

Anyway, all the best for RG III, I really loved to see him play this season and hopefully he's back as soon as possible.as

The NFLPA will not demand a formal investigation of the Washington Redskins' handling of the knee injury suffered by quarterback Robert Griffin III, as is allowed under the sport's collective bargaining agreement.

On Tuesday, the NFLPA made an informal inquiry to the Redskins and their medical staff in response to discrepancies in the reports about how the team dealt with Griffin's injury.
