The only consolation to this Sunday was SEA losing to MIA. With 5 weeks left in the regular season, it is looking more a reality that we will have to make the playoffs and win as a road team. We will have to catch the lightning in a bottle, again. Maybe we can do it, but we have work to do in order to get there, after being completely outclassed this season by both SF and NYG.
We were completely outclassed. 5 weeks to get our mojo back, with a ton of work to do.
Must win? I see where people are coming from saying this wasn't. Had we won, there may well have been a false sense of security attached to it. By losing, we've chosen a more difficult path. Right this ship. Get some important players back from injury. Ride some wildcard momentum. We have done it before.
We may have to add some players on DL and OL.
Can this Packers team win in SF? Can this Packers team win at NYG? I think we look a man or two short on both lines. If we can't protect Rodgers, and we can't pressure the opposing QB, I just don't see it.
