I'm missing it also.
I will get to listen to it on the radio and Wayne making my heart pound calling a 2 yard gain sound like a breakaway TD run.

Love love love that so many people are doing the Week 1 overreaction. From everyone at ESPN sounding the end for Green Bay to Cutler tacking his "Good Luck" to the Packers bulletin board, they're getting plenty of chips to hang on their collective shoulder. I feel like this (and probably every) team plays better when they feel like underdogs.

This offseason, McCarthy said, "This is clearly the most experienced football team in conjunction with the most talent that I've had a chance to coach,"

This team is awesome. They got punched in the mouth their last two times out and are facing Chicago's shaky O-line and old old defense. Cobb! Matthews!! Woodson!!! Rodgers!!!! GANGBUSTERS.

And I'm glad I'm not the only one in regards to Wayne. I swear someone is holding his balls in a vice or something and its just something he can't control.

I feel like being optimistic today.

Green Bay 45
Chicago 0

Rodgers 4 TD (two to the old man, Driver, one to a TE not named Finley, one rushing )
Benson 2 TD
6 sacks, 1 INT, 2 Fumble recoveries on defense.

(It has to be a blowout. I'm missing the game, and I want to be pissed about missing it.)

1. Benson -- any RB can have a two-TD game. All it takes is being given the ball on two plays inside the two with good blocks by two adjacent linemen.

2. All it takes for a WR like Driver to have two TDs is two catches on two slants inside the 10.

The Packers have what it takes to score 45 points in any game. And with a whole variety of weird combinations.

Now if you want to attack my prediction, I'd focus on the part where the Bears get shut out by the Packer D. *THAT* is serious optimism/craziness

[duh]

Benson is gonna be motivated for this game, as he was against Cincinnati.

I'm done betting on the Packers this year. It all comes down to 🇦🇷. If he has an excellent day, we'll win. If he has anything short, with this joke of a D, we'll lose.

Jay Cutler vs Packers D = 🇦🇷.

So this game is pretty much 🇦🇷 vs 🇦🇷. I hope our 🇦🇷 beats da Bears' 🇦🇷.

That's a lot of head.

Injury update: RB James Starks’ return to practice on Wednesday was a surprise development, Mike McCarthy said, but obviously a positive one. Starks was a limited participant and is listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game, but he practiced for the first time since developing turf toe in the preseason opener back on Aug. 9.
