I agree, and I should have stated that in my post. I wasn't trying to say that I thought he would be cut if they did land a blockbuster DLman, only that the only way that could conceivably happen is if they managed to do so. Considering how patient they were with Justin Harrell, who admittedly was a 1st-round pick, and Johnny Jolly, who had serious legal issues, I can't imagine they won't extend a similar courtesy to Neal.

I wouldn't release Neal, but I wouldn't count on him either. I would try to solidify that position with someone else. If Neal comes through then we have some depth.
