I'm definitely shocked!
Gettig rid of the punter and holder at this point in time is a curious move.
Now we have a new long snapper, punter and holder in a very crucial part of the game.
And I valued Hodge more than Giaccomoni. Ted Thompson knows best.

this is flat out weird. Ryans numbers were better last year, and has proven that he can punt in bad weather.

He did have his bad games last year, but i thought he was pretty consistent as a punter.

Well in the regular season stats for last season Jon Ryan was ranked 31st and Derrick Frost was ranked 21st. I don't know if playing devil's advocate helps in this situation though. A lot of us, including me, liked Jon Ryan. Frost's net yards were 2,730 while Ryan's were 2,331.

Don't tell me you couldn't get anything for Hodge, or release Bush instead. This smells really bad if you ask me.

I'd rather keep Hodge over White, but every time I've doubted TT, he's proved me wrong (jury is still out on Harrell).

The NFL is a game of field position. I'd rather have a consistently solid punter pinning the opposition inside the 10 than one who can dazzle you with a 70 yard punt that goes into the endzone for a touchback.

I will miss Ryan on trick punts. Maybe Ruvell Martin is the new holder?
