How in the hell can u pay a man this much money that cant run tackle or catch,” White wrote. “Roger Goodell is getting over never seen anything like it 20 million for looking over the league with tremendous help I guess the NFL is banking.

the players make this league dont ever forget that.

Roddy White (twitter) wrote:

I kind of agree with the other comments I've read about this quote. If Roger Goodell wasn't doing a good job, then Roddy White wouldn't be making what his salary is. It would be a lot less.

I liked Roddy White before he realized he was a talented WR.

The players make the league, he's right about that. But Goodell (and I'm not a fan of the guy either) does alot to make sure Roddy get's a paycheck. This guy bitching is like me bitching because Fred Smith (the CEO of FedEx) makes more than I do, and it's many people's belief that package handlers are what makes FedEx work. Both Smith and Goodell do things corporate/league wide that the players/handlers don't ever want to worry about thinking about.

STFU, Roddy, and do your job.

Disagree. The players didn't make the NFL. The owners and commissioners did. Without them and the deals they put together the players would be playing pick up games in the back yard of a local church or high school their they neighbors.

The only people watching them would be a couple of teenage girls from down the street who want to hit on them.

Does Roddy think he and 5 of his friends could walk into Budweiser, Frito Lay, Nike, FOX or any of the major corp who spend copious amounts of money on the game and get them to even sit down and talk to him little alone get these businesses to shell out the same amount of money that they currently are spending? No likely.
