Packers were 13 - 0 (someone double check that) at home in the playoffs until 2003.

2002 Atlanta Falcons - LOSS
2003 Seattle Seahawks - WIN
2004 Minnesota Vikings - LOSS
2007 Seattle Seahawks - WIN
2007 New York Giants - LOSS
2011 New York Giants - LOSS

2 - 4 in the last home playoff games? I might be over reacting, but that is fucking horrible and embarrassing! What happened to the home field advantage of the FROZEN TUNDRA? The last time the Packers won a home playoff game, I was there! (memo to everyone, pitch in for a playoff ticket for me!)

I attribute it to a lack of pass rush and being soft as an overall team.

It is really embarrassing. I thought it would change under the aaron rodgers era...Not so far.

I remember that as bad as we were in the 70s and 80s, at least we were never beaten at home in the Playoffs. I actually took pride in that.

It's now gone. 🤔 [aiee]

On the other hand, they are still really good at home in the regular season . . .[boxing]

Our defense I think. Most of those playoff losses came in years we had bad defenses. We played at home in some big playoff type games and won late in the season. We were 1-1 in 07 losing to the Giants and years before that we had bad defenses.

When it's colder you need to be dominant with your defense and be able to run the ball a bit and use long sustaining drives. Drops and fumbles are also a recipe for disaster in the playoffs in bad weather.

2-4 in the last 6. Your point still stands. Another frustrating statistic that I'm about 98% certain of is that we played each of those teams that beat us during the regular season and won all five games (Minnesota twice). That's absolute chicken shit stuff to go 5-0 in the regular season against those teams only to go 0-4 when it mattered most.

Maybe the Packers should only play the Seahawks at home in the playoffs??

This team can (and does) shit itself at any time in any venue. That's the problem, imo.

The defense was what it was this year. But they were pretty consistent. The defense will get fixed, but the psychology of this team will continue to be a problem.

I think it's as little more predictable than that. If it's a team the Packers really should destroy -- if it's a team most other opponents have destroyed convincingly -- the Packers will probably let them hang around most of the game. They have an odd tendency to beat their better opponents, though.
