Thinking of Jim Irwin, other announcers came to mind, so I thought it might be interesting to see who everybody's all time favorites are.
Ray Scott - from the early "glory years". Nobody better in my mind. He was always accurate, was on top of each play, and had a natural drama in his voice, without being loud, that made the games exciting. You always knew what was happening.
Keith Jackson - very entertaining with his down home wit, and personal player stories, yet never lost track of the game.
Jim and Max - accurate, knowledgeable, great inside stories, and colorful. Fun team to listen. Doesn't seem they should be gone so soon.
