Meet Mr. Vermin Supreme, who ran for President in the 2012 New Hampshire Democratic presidential primary.

His main platform planks:

1. Mandatory toothbrushing.
2. Free ponies for all.
3. Time travel research.
4. Zombie attack preparedness.

As Suzi Parker wrote in the Washington Post :

In this year’s New Hampshire Democratic Primary, he got about 781 [votes] — which isn’t so bad, if you consider that Rick Perry garnered only 1,762 votes in the GOP primary



The following video is from the 2008 primary, when he ran as a Republican. He's pretty funny and quick on his feet. The guy could probably have his own comedy act if he wanted.

Saw this a few days ago... He's really, really good.

I actually wondered whether he was clinically insane or just a very good comedian when I first started watching.
