I thought that at first too, but after rereading it, I think he was saying that they looked at all records up to the start of the 2011 season.

We didn't celebrate NFC North title, Announcement was made on the plane home. I don'tt hink anyone blinked. Don't know if everyone was tired or what. It's the first goal. First marker of the season goals.

I didn't see the game but read some write ups about it. The Lions are looking like a bunch of undisciplined assholes. That's not a good thing as the NFL doesn't tolerate that stuff for very long.

It is amazing how many unproven teams get a couple of wins, get cocky and think they are such world beaters when in fact they have not accomplished anything. Within a year or two they are gone. Atlanta and the Dirty Birds were another one of these kind of teams that comes to mind.

I can't lie, I'm quietly thrilled about the possibility of going 19-0. I mean, they would go down as the greatest single season team in NFL history, objectively, and in the argument, subjectively. That's exciting.

I don't think anything short of a SB win would be a huge disappointment though. You never know what will happen in the playoffs. It's anyone's trophy.

Saints will give us fits on D with there passing game. It will be a great rematch of that Week 1 shootout.

49ers are a good story, but as the saying goes, "A great offense usually beats a great defense."

Very odd year for the NFL so far.

19-0 would be legendary.

But going 19-0 after winning the Super Bowl? That would be freaky, considering how hard it is to win two Superbowls in a row with every team having you as their number one target.
