I think that ARod is lucky that it didnt get picked off. The defender was out of position. if he was where he was supposed to be I think it would have been picked off. Thats what it looked like to me.

I THINK LOS ANGELES IS LUCKY THAT THE CITY HAS NOT BEEN PICKED OFF BY A 9.0 Earth Quake.

The San Andreas Fault was out of position. If the San Andreas fault was where it was suppose to be I think Los Angeles would have been picked off.

That is what it looks like to me.

Sorry,

I am just trying to be a little more cynical than you, as far as ifs, would have, and could have negativity. You are the Champion tonight in this category.

P.M. me in the morning... I need a little negative vibe in my life.

Wow..That was a little of an over reaction. I was thrilled that we got the TD. It almost got picked off..Just like so many passes could be. I wasnt knocking Rodgers or his decision to make the pass. I was just pointing out that he was lucky it wasnt picked off. Just like many times Brett was lucky his passes were not picked. And just like Peyton Manning and Tom Brady are lucky that some of their passes are not picked off. I love the call, and I love the decision that Arod made to throw it to Jennings.

Beautiful toss. What does that put his passer rating at for the game?

I would be pleased to answer your question.

YOUNG CHICO had a passer rating of 158.33333 in tonights game.

Sweet play, and good to see. But I wish McCarthy would have let the starters play one more series. I wanted to get a look at Grant...

Didn't see the play in question.. but the margin for error in the NFL is small.. a great number of plays could go either way with just a small adjustment by another player.

It is managing risks in plays that count the most.. you have to win the better share of your gambles.. this is an area that I think will be one of few improvements in the QB play here in GB. Albeit last year the number of "Rut-Roh" plays were at a minimum, I expect Rodgers to take care of the ball very efficiently.

'Twas a beautiful pass. And no, it wasn't a gamble. Looked like Rodgers had a split second decision that Jennings was farther along than the defender would have liked and Aaron made that decision, and it was the right one.

I agree Zombie. Looking at the reply, he saw that Jennings had the D lulled into a false sense of security, and the throw was there.
Those silly defenders........don't they KNOW that your not supposed to look directly into Greg Jenning's face???? :thumbright:
Since69.....i agree with that too. I would have liked to see Grant in there to get at least a few touches. Just to get used to the hits again.

That's the thing. It wasn't a risky throw at all. Jennings was in a weird spot where if the ball was in the right spot, there's no way the two defenders could touch him. After catching the ball, he could have moonwalked into the end zone if he wanted to.

Thats what i saw too. Now, had the ball been a half second late, it could have been picked off. But Rodgers took advantage of what he saw, and made a great play. It's all timing, and taking advantage of it at that split second you see it. Rodgers showed me he's ready for the season to start.....and that excites me!
