Tony Romo left last weeks game with a broken rib and some sort of puncture to his lung. I'm not sure how severe it was, although, any puncture to a lung sounds terrible. He came back and led his team to a thrilling victory in over time.
Former Denver Bronco OL Mark Schlereth tweeted a comment about Romo coming back in with a broken rib and punctured lung and mocked the NFL for their attempts to be safer for the players.
Where does it stop? I recall players say they are "grown men", shouldn't we let them decide? The more the NFL tries to protect them, the more they are going to be seen liable for their injuries that effect the players after football.
Aside from head injuries, it should be the players choice to come back in or not.
