The Packers made at least one roster move on Friday, a day before the final cuts were due.


They cut rookie fullback Jon Hoese, according to his agent, Brian Rader. Hoese was an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota, who got most of his work during training camp on special teams.

After we signed him I watched some clips of him.. I would like to see him in another year of development in a pro system.. hope he gets a chance.

He is going on the PS if nobody else picks him up. They asked him to stay in Green Bay.

If one wanted to guess on the "tea" leaves.. maybe the Packers are considering on FB on the 53 and if they can get him to the PS it would offer protection.

If Johnson is let loose.. a run oriented team could use his hammer style.

If Ted Thompson can't get any decent value for our receivers I think it would make sense to go with one FB and then keep Hoese on the PS.
