I'm thinking Frank Zombo is going to land on injured reserve and they probably use that for an OL. It's so damn hard to predict.

The Packers might need So’oto to play right away. Walden’s experience gives him the edge for the starting job, but Capers had planned to rotate players at that spot. Zombo won’t be ready for the opener even though he said an X-ray taken on Thursday showed significant healing in his shoulder. He said he thinks he could return in two weeks. The only other option is Jones, an injury risk his entire career who hasn’t done much to distinguish himself this preseason.

To me it sounds as if Jones could lose out to So'oto.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.

I apologize, extremely irritating day and I let my sandy vagina out on a few posts, hence why I stayed away from the site until now.

On the OP.. there really isn't much to rip apart.. those last 3 to 5 spots on the roster could go a in ten if not hundreds of combinations.. what I would give to be in the coaches room today.

Just observing of course.. until I would have to open my yap and give my two cents.

For the most part I like this list other than keeping only 3 TEs. The TEs have shown up and there are 5 that make be worth a roster spot... so I'd say they keep four. Plus what if Finley goes down again?

My changes I'd make

TE Taylor or Crabtree over RB Saine

OG Dominguez over OG Schlauderaff

CB Lee over CB Gordy. Just didn't see Gordy out play Lee... yeah Lee made bad plays... but so did Gordy and Lee has more ST value.

I think Gordy is still a bit of an unknown and the Packers know Lee can't contribute. Might as well see what Gordy has... that's my thinking.

Of course I think Capers switched to more of a zone coverage with Woodson and Shields down making it easier on the CBs but he did contribute in zone and on STs.

And Gordy shown in the Chiefs game he didn't protect his zones too well letting a couple of guys have huge cushions in zone and then not reacting fast enough to get to the player before the ball... and that was in the redzone where you shouldn't be giving the guy too big of a cushion to start with.
