OK. I added a few more names. I think I have about 70 more names on the list. I am getting my data from profootballreference.com if anybody wants to check anything. I'd appreciate it if anyone notices an error, let me know.

I started at the top of the list of Career Passer Ratings.

Couple of things I noticed. Sid and Otto were extremely far above average. Either everyone else in the NFL sucked or those guys were incredible.

Apparently an average QB can get into the HOF if they play for a good team. Bradshaw and Aikman wouldn't have been in if they played on other teams. They just were not very good.

I don't like going by wins. If you don't like passer rating because it depends too much on the rest of the offensive players, going buy wins is 10 times worse. Then you have the running game, D and ST to split the credit with. Instead of just the receivers. It takes a village to raise a championship trophy

I have always said I would put Favre about even with Trent Green. Another QB who had a mediocre performance in the Super Bowl that the rest of the team carried for him. Green didn't have the talent, but he didn't screw up as much either. Add them together and they come out about the same. I had them both right at top 15 of the last 20 years. So far they are about top 25 all time. But that is only with 70 on the list.

Top 10 current Passers in order.
Rivers
Rodgers
Manning
Brady
Romo
Roethlisberger
Brees
Schaub
Pennington
McNabb

They did give us his trophy last year for winning the NFCCG. Against his team.

I finished the spreadsheet.

Couple more interesting things.

There are a couple of guys at or near the top of the list that played in the AAFC back in the 40's. There are some issues with them being up there.

It is Otto Graham, Frankie Albert, George Ratterman and Y. A. Tittle.

I am kind of undecided as to what to do with these players. I can count just the post AAFC years, but then I should do the same for the AFL players. NFL's own site says their "NFL career" includes the years they played in the AAFC. But the stats are not listed like the other players including those of the AFC. They also count the HOF players from the AAFC as NFL players in the NFL HOF.

If I don't count the stats from the AAFC, Graham drops to 3rd, Ratterman jumps up to 15th between Brady and Starr. Tittle swaps with Johnny U, and Poor Frankie Albert falls to 159th.

Here are the results after taking out all years any QB played in the AAFC.

In every generation, even when the NFL was supposedly a run-first league, the teams who dominated in passer rating have won the most championships. Your work just graphically confirms that point.

I sorted the data and saw some interesting things

Here are the HOF players sorted in order.-I am surprised how low Aikman and Bradshaw are. They had great teams that took them to the HOF.

Here are the retired non-HOF players-Some surprising omission by the HOF people. Ratterman and Thompson higher than Marino and Tarkington. Warner and Favre will be there when they are eligible.

Here are the active players-It looks like I would have expected if you charted it like a grade. A bell curve.

1. Starr set the standard for "playoff quarterback." So I'm not at all surprised at that bit.
2. Ken Anderson was QB for Cincy many years. Probably should be in HOF, except ... he played for Cincy, and Cincy already has their one Hall of Fame representative filled.
