If the Packers keep only two fullbacks on their final roster, then they could carry four halfbacks and have the standard six players at those two positions combined.

standard six? ... I thought five was standard for the Packers with 2 FBs and 3 RBs.

If they resign Hall and Kuhn the Hall vs. Johnson battle might be interesting.

Hall can't power block which is important but he is very well rounded as he can zone block, catch, run routes and play STs very well... at least when he's healthy to do so. He's played in at least 11 games or more and started 5 or more games in every season of his NFL career... but has never played 15 games in a season and only once has gotten to 13.

Johnson on the other hand is GREAT at run blocking between the tackles but is kind of has been a one trick pony as he hasn't been very good at other things.

Two VERY different FBs...

MM has show the ability to use the talent he has. If he has extra FBs, we get lots of 2 FB sets. If we have extra TEs, we get lots of 3 TE sets. If we have 5 WRs that can all contribute, we see the Big 5 package.

I think that if he has lots of talented RBs, we may see lots of multiple RB sets.

He may not have done RB by committee because of a lack of talent at the position in the past. Now that he has that, he may start using it.

Being predictable is bad for an offense.
