I'm not that concerned. First of all I don't put 100% faith in John Clayton's numbers. Second we can probably cut/trade a few players like Tauscher or Barnett and open a few million in cap room. Lastly it's not like we need to sign anyone except draft choices, most of whom should be fairly cheap.

Barnett: 5.87 million
Tauscher (sigh): 4.38
Poppinga: 2.35
Total: 12.60 million

So, what would $12.60 million buy in free agency this year?

Probably not Jenkins.

But would it buy a better-than-Colledge OG and leave enough left over to keep Kuhn and Crosby? Maybe even Jones?

Bush, Harrell, and Poppinga combine for just under 5 million (4.87).

It can and will be done.

beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
