That is the gamble both he and Ted took with their decision, that isn't criticism that is reality.. they made the stand.

My God. Anyone putting Lovie Smith that high in an idiot. Lovie Smith is the only coach I've ever seen lose a Super Bowl.

Anyway.......every time i see "Lovie Smith's" name, i giggle! I mean, what were his parents thinking???? Were they that big of fans of "Gilligan's Island?" Thats the ONLY "Lovie" i ever heard of, Lovie Howell. Does he have brothers named "Mary Ann" and "Ginger?" Imagine what HELL that guy have to live through growing up!!! He of course gets the last laugh, as he is the head coach of an almost NFL caliber team.
