Jordy has his problems with drops as well, I honestly think Jordy would of been Super Bowl MVP if he didn't have SOOO many dang drops that game. The difference is Jones drops have come after he had his man beat and had a shot at a touchdown which make the moment stick out a lot more to the fans.

Also it could just be my memory but Driver seems to be dropping more than he normally does lately.

Second I think most would prefer to keep Jones over Swain... but you also have to think about the money side of things a bit. Jones wants the start label and be a starter next year... and people assume that also means he wants starter money. I don't think the Packers can promise Jones will beat out Driver and Nelson. While Swain should be a good bit cheaper.

And the money we save by not signing Jones might help us pay for other guys like Nelson, Sitton, Finley, Wells and maybe Grant... and etc...

One thing that makes JJ perhaps drop more is that he's usually down the sideline, which requires a longer throw, dancing along the sideline and spinning around motions just before, or while catching the ball. That said, one must note that the Queens might be in the market for a starting calibur WR. They might be losing Sidney Rice. But then, they would never go after former Packers, right?

Just because we are good at them, doesn't mean they are easier plays to make. Dunno about DD. He goes over the middle alot, that's one thing. He also was injured more this year than he has been in the past.

During the regular season both Jordy and James were in the 6% range for drops. Jordy actually had 9.7% drops in the playoffs.

Donald was in the 8% range with 7 regular season drops.

My point is that people are singling out Jones when it was almost the entire WR corps. Jones was not the worst offender. Just that his drops appeared to cost us games. But he is not the only one.

Jones had 1 drop in the super bowl while Nelson had 3.
