Back on topic - excited about this pick. I wanted OL dealt with in the first round. Aaron Rodgers is the most important person on the Green Bay Packers. His health should be our #1 investment. NE realizes what they have in Brady. With 2 years straight of OT picks in the first round, I guess we're realizing what we have in Rodgers. :thumbright:

I don't doubt Ted's picks anymore. I'm not worthy. I doubted the Greg Jennings pick and that was my last mistake.

No kidding. I think I would have been happy with anything at #32 as long as it wasn't a QB, Kicker, or TE. I'm thrilled that I actually agree with the pick though.

This pick also allows Bulaga to stay at right tackle the position at which he started 16 games last season. And while general manager Ted Thompson and coach Mike McCarthy believe that Bulaga could play left tackle, hes clearly better-suited for the right side. Thats where his strength is an advantage and his average feet and short arms are less of a liability.

Isn't one of the knocks on sherrod that he has short arms as well?

Ahh you didn't
read
or pay attention
or prehaps believe the comments made on the Sherrad thread . There are at least 3 sources that speak of his long arms, reach.

So i clicked your link and all i got out if it was sherrod had an "Early day 3" grade. But yes point taken on the arm length issue. Someone had misinformed me via chat.

Phil Loadholt has really long arms. It didn't help him much. Except maybe he can reach farther to hold someone or grab their facemask.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.

Long arms are an advantage. Just like running a 4.4 instead of running a 4.5 is an advantage. Just because one has an advantage a certain area doesn't mean everything, unless one is equal in all other areas and puts it all together.

From what I've read and heard both Sherrod and Bulaga can play both LT and RT. Good position to be in. Sherrod has the good fortune at this point to not be pressed into service, I like that. Gives him a chance to learn and build his confidence. I'm glad Bulaga had a few games to do that before Tausch went down.

beast (4h) : I'm going with Jax Ulbrich is not telling the whole truth... he accidentally came across it? Why would a defensive coordinator have a QB #?

Zero2Cool (5h) : If we add Isaiah Simmons, book your Super Bowl tickets
Mucky Tundra (5h) : Colts 1st round TE Tyler Warren also got prank called, was that Jax Ulbrich as well?
Zero2Cool (5h) : Jax Ulbrich, Jeff Ulbrich’s son, released an apology for his role in the Shedeur Sanders prank call.
Martha Careful (5h) : apparently he did not participate in practice or play on the east west shrine game nor the NFL combine. The kid was a mediocre spoiled brat
Mucky Tundra (6h) : Yeah that one that was a super wounded duck that Sanders supporters are highlighting to prove a point
Zero2Cool (6h) : Shough is the guy who missed guys at combine isn't he?

Martha Careful (25-Apr) : No thanks. Not a dependable guy to be in the right place and run the right route. Dumb as a box of rocks.
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : Losing 2nd round pick for a one year rental, not ideal. Especially a headcase.
TheKanataThrilla (25-Apr) : Pickens for Jaire may be interesting. Definitely not sure we want Pickens long term.
dfosterf (25-Apr) : No.Absolutely not
Zero2Cool (25-Apr) : NO NO NO NO NO NO!!1 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
dhazer (25-Apr) : scenario: Our main prospects are off the board when our pick comes around, do we just throw a 2nd round pick at Pittsburgh for Pickens
