Chris Simms....next backup?

I spent time in Vegas during Easter weekend/Passover.

I ate at STK steakhouse and just so happened to sit next to Chris Simms..free agent from Tennessee.

Had a great conversation w/him and found him to be a very genuine, and stand up guy.

He's 30 years old, can still play and has a good arm.
He told me he would love to play either in San Francisco, or Green Bay.
(He's friends w/Aaron and Alex Smith. I joked that SF needs him more).

He was one of the nicest NFL players I've ever met. And I've met some nice ones.

I think, if Flynn were to go, Simms would be a good veteran back up to Aaron and be another high character guy for the team.

Whoa wait..just saw on his wikipedia that he got arrested for weed in 2010.
OKay..maybe not the BEST character guy...

Oh please no. He wasn't even the best quarterback on his college team.

I believe the Packers use volunteers for their backup waterboy positions, thus, Chris Simms' services will not be required.
