Starks was great. I would have no problem if either Grant or Starks started though because they will just split carries anyway.

Seems like the logical thing to do would be to start Grant, and work Starks in. Use them both, let Starks develop as he goes, and ride the hot hand as the season goes.

Nerdman,

Nance, 16 games (including playoffs) 3 receptions.

I am guessing Grant could probably beat that since he has 76 receptions in the 39 games he has started. He even had 11 receptions in the 8 games he wasn't the starter.

You can only guess at Nance's potential. We know what Grant, Starks and Jackson can do. All three have show a great deal more than Nance. Why wait for him to develop when you have guys that are capable of producing now. You can't guarantee Nance will develop.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.

I don't understand how the writer of this article can say whether or not Starks is going to be special. He saw limited action and missed the whole offseason.

like i've said in every previous thread about this, it's far too early to label him our starter. discussion about the topic is just silly at this point, imo.

haha, pwned. I did not know Grant caught that many throws. He always seems to be the runner with BJack catching everything. I like Grant's fit in our O. He is a solid runner, and he has had a few memorable breakaways but I'm with zombie on the need for a passing game rather than an elite Barry Sanders runner. (Sorry, Zero)

just silly. Grant will be the starter end of story. After 5-6 games if Starks had better stats he will see in increase in carries but Grant will still be considered the starter.

Nerdmann is the Skip Bayless of PH. But I love the guy cause he at least gives us something to talk about.

I'm not sure why you're saying sorry to something I stated many times over, but apology accepted. 🙂
