Just found out that 4 Californians were swept out but recovered alive. A guy in Oregon though wasn't so fortunate. He's still missing.

I've been out of the loop the past day and a half because our apartments lost power until this afternoon, after I left for work.

So all I know is Japan got hit by the mother of earthquakes and sent a tsunami raging? Time to look some stuff up.

That stuff is crazy. Many prayers out that way.

Ah......... the "benefits" of technology and the preponderance of social media.
It truly has given rise for the idiotic assholes to come out of the woodwork.
Not that they would have the balls to say those things openly.

I sometimes miss the days when I only had to deal with assholes on a face-to-face basis.

I pray to God that those "people" are not allowed to breed.

How embarrassing. What has become of us as a people? If those pathetic blobs of human protoplasm seriously believe that this earthquake was somehow divine vengeance for Pearl Harbor, then I hope that they endure a similar fate as punishment for their nation's role in the catastrophes at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Or Dresden for that matter. Morons.

There actually were many warnings. I recall reading/hearing on the news about possible tsunami hits a couple of days before they hit Japan.

the earthquake they had caused the tsunami. i heard they had maybe 15 minutes warning.

Geologists predicted the earthquakes ahead of time. I'm not saying that many of the Japanese in the danger zone knew, just that if you had been specifically looking for info, it could have been found.
