Pay the man or release him, there are plenty of NFL teams who would gladly have AJ Hawk on their roster.

I won't be surprised if we give Hawk the $10M and I won't be surprised when he gets an extension after that. He's now the captain of the defense that just one the Super Bowl. I actually really like the guy because he just goes out and gets the job done without the need to be a jagoff like Barnett.

Believe me, we've wasted a lot of money over the years on dog shit like Joe Johnson, Clitorous Hunt, and Jamal Reynolds. Honoring Hawk's contract won't make me lose any sleep.

I'm starting to think Barnett may be the one on the way out, actually. Our linebackers were tremendous last year - Ted Thompson and MM won't want to mess with that kind of chemistry. I think Barnett is going to be moved outside and if it doesn't work he'll be gone.

And in a completely unrelated development, MM says Bishop is on top of the MLB depth chart .

You guys are so gay picking on a mispelled word that you make VR look like a studhorse.

And Since 69, Barnett doesn't have the testicles to play OLB, I think he'd thump himself if actually was about to sack the QB. Cut his ass and let him play for the Queens, then use his $6M to overpay Hawk for a year - then let Capers & W. Moss draft the next ILB.
