So, you're saying there's no chance that Brett and Aaron talk, but keep it private, which would be done for many reasons.

Some of these comments come off as Aaron texted/called Brett time and time again and Brett ignored him. I'm only able to recall one time where Aaron was asked if he reached out to Brett and when asked, Aaron said at the time Brett had not returned the call.

For two guys where theres apparently some bitterness, I point you back to the retirement speech from Brett and the kind words he said about Aaron and then point you to the four times after the Packers/Vikings games where Brett and Aaron spoke privately (as they could in the situation) after the conclusion of the game.

I honestly believe people WANT there to be bad blood between them so there's a story and I think that's one of the reasons (if im right) they keep their conversations private and unknown. Because if people knew they were talking, they'd try to drive a stake between them because lets face it, negativity is what the pathetic society wants to read about.

That is exactly what I am saying. If you refer back to my original post, why would Aaron come out and say that he was not contacted BACK by Brett? If they were in contact, wouldn't he just say nothing at all? I recall reading a long article this last summer about Aaron not being contacted by Brett. It wasn't a short piece. I'll see if I can't find it. What I'm saying is that he didn't just say no he hasn't talked to me, he elaborated on it. Also, the words of kindness that Brett had toward Aaron were when Brett was retiring from the Packers, which was before any of this "bad blood" stuff started.

In reference to your last paragraph, I agree that the media feeds on the negativity, but that in no way makes sense about Brett and Aaron keeping it secret for that reason. There already is negativity btw them, and you're saying that they don't want people knowing that they talk because it will create the negativity? If anything it will settle a lot, if not all of this.

So you're thinking that they actually have been in contact and are lying about it, keeping it a secret? And they're doing this because they know people think there should be bad blood, and they're lying about their secret conversation to give the people what they want? That... seems pretty convoluted. I can't imagine the two of them would go to that length when a simple, "Yeah we've talked" would clear up so much ridiculous conjecture.

Just the fact that ARod and Brett spent so much time together, being on the same team, and playing the same position, and Brett flat out ignored Rodgers' attempts to reach out to him and get a hold of him. We have all read the interviews that mentioned Aaron trying to talk to Brett, and there was nothing in return. IMO, Aaron should be a little upset, because Brett is and was being a baby. He's been around longer than anybody else, so he should know better than anybody else that this is a business, and it has nothing to do with ARod, like you said, but he still manages to disrespect him.

I know you some people here think that they have indeed had contact, but that doesn't make sense when you hear ARod saying that he has tried to contact him and received nothing in return. That wouldn't make sense. He wouldn't say something that would reflect poorly on Brett when it is an absolute lie. They haven't talked. At least at the point of any of these interviews, they hadn't.

And what do ya have to support this? The fact that Brett and Aaron spoke after every game the last two years their teams played against one another? Or just because you want there to be arguing to give yourself something to speak about because you don't want to find something worthwhile to chat up? 🙂

Why are you changing the subject and pointing fingers, saying that we want there to be bad blood? That's ridiculous. The media wants it because it produces money and information for them, but to say that we want our current QB and our previous QB--both who in their time were adored--to have bad blood? Seems like you're reaching.

Compared to other threads, which is more popular? Not that much of a reach is it considering the Packers won the Super Bowl, what, two weeks ago?

Edit, who said anything about 'we', I initially said the media and for the reasons you mentioned. I was singling out the person I quoted because of their comments. Talk bout reaching, dayum.
