I don't think they will be consistent enough to win a super bowl until they get a decent O-line and some targets for the QB.

When they got Cutler I said. Who they had at QBs was not their problem. No O-line and no weapons were.

That has not changed.

A .533 winning percentage is not "owning".

That is a HUGE price tag for someone Denver didn't want.

1. Peppers is still quite good. It's just Aaron's more mobile than any other QB besides Vick. Aaron was able to avoid him.

2. Maybe it's because the Packers draft better than da Bears.

3. I was thinking that too with that TO. That was stupid.

4. Capers > Martz, with all due respect to Martz. I think Martz is a heck of a OC. My biggest criticism of Martz is that his QB will die after 3 years. But in those 3 years, he'll roll up a lot of stats. But Capers is better. (And Capers doesn't cause any of his players to die).

5. Haine looked better than Cutler and Collins combined. Wonder if da Bears will figure that out. If they don't, he may be starting for the Vikings next year.

6. Some credit needs to go to Jarrett Bush. Some other credit needs to go to our punter who actually had a pretty dang good game.

7. I'm not so sure if it's their LT or Martz's scheme. You pretty much need a Pro Bowl caliber LT in Martz's scheme.

8. LOL. I actually did laugh out loud reading that because me, as a Packers fan, seems to know more than da Bears' front office. Hester's not made for Martz' O. I said that before the year started. I emailed my Dad (who's a Bears fan) and explained exactly why Hester won't be good in Martz' O and why he should be WR #3 or 4 and their KR/PR. I got it right. They got it wrong.

So the next time anyone says something stupid like "well, they're professionals so they know more than you," eat shit.

9. Collins is done. Flynn is a dang good backup and could be the next Matt Cassel. Not saying he WILL be, just saying he COULD be.

10. Either build an elite OL and have some better route running WRs or else can Martz. Weird that I'm defending Cutler here, but Cutler is the scapegoat, not the problem. Yes, Cutler's not an elite QB. But their OL and WRs aren't good enough for Martz' scheme.

I opened the laptop up this morning and reloaded the page, then started reading your post. I couldn't figure out why the hell you were numbering up to ten, then I remembered what the thread was about haha.

I think the biggest gap between these two teams that we have seen is that the Bears had one of those magical seasons where nobody important gets hurt. Their starters stayed clean almost the entire season and their IR is empty of any impact players. Those kinds of years don't happen often enough as fans. With Angelo's history of drafting and their aging superstars and lack of youthful talent on the defense, I think they are going to be reeling the next two seasons trying to get some return on their investment of Cutler, I expect Angelo to throw more money at FAs just to keep the boat afloat.
