i tore my ACL & MCL & had to sit around in a friggin ski lodge for several hours after - no pain killers, no nothin.

Anyway.......a QB has to be able to plant his feet and throw. If he can't do that, then you pull him out. He would hurt the team more then help to stay in the game.
If the docs pulled him out, you can't blame Cutler.

I was playing catcher and had a collision at the plate. I tore my MCL. I did get back behind the plate for the last 2 outs of the inning. I even dove for a foul ball. The pitcher was a little wild so I had to jump for a couple.

I sat down on the bench after the inning and 5 minutes later, when it was my turn to bat, I couldn't stand up. It wasn't too painful, it just didn't work.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.
Not screaming in terror like his passengers.
