I agree with musccy all the way on that one. Don't give another receiver a starting spot over Donald Driver because driver was a 7th round pick. I would have given Harrell the boot awhile ago, and I am actually kind of shocked to see how much stock fans still tend to put in him, like at the beginning of the season how so many people were upset that Harrell went down and didn't know how we would go forward without him (slight exaggeration 🙂 ).

Burnett is the future. He played well and showed some flashes of brilliance. If anybody is gone, it's Bigby.

If any team pounces on Peprah, they might end up with a Marquand Manuel type player. I like Peprah and he has been completely serviceable, but Ted Thompson didn't trade up in the third round to make Burnett sit on the bench.

Ted has no choice, this statment would only make sense if Ted Thompson was never wrong on draft day. alot of players are not good their rookie year and never improve to be starting material(see, Brohm, P.Lee) if thats the case then Burnett can ride the pine for the rest of his career, or would you rather we put worse players on the field because Ted saw some value in them?

The best players deserve to be on the field regardless of how they were aquired.

And right now, that player is Peprah. Burnett will have to beat him out in training camp next year, he won't be given the job like this year.

Right now, Peprah > Burnett, I don't disagree there. I'm just saying in training camp Burnett will leap past him.
