About 15 of the 60 credits you have to get, you get with doing group work. We actually have to plan meetings with our project groups ourselves. I think we meet for at least 3 hours a week and then whatever we do in between.

We go out with the entire class, have dinner with our party group, visit eachother.

It's not like we're socially retarted because we have more ways of contacting eachother.

Just think about this. I don't know many teenagers who prefer having a conference on skype to hanging out in a bar. I don't know many teenagers who prefer to sit at home and text eachother over partying in a club all night.

And yes, when someone has his earphones in, doing a crossword puzzle and is texting, then most likely he doesn't want to talk to you. I put my earphones in and go to sleep when I'm in the bus. Doesn't mean I don't want to talk to people face to face at all times.

Btw, that doesn't mean that college doesn't work the same way it works over there, technology wise.

People are in class, with their laptops, twittering, surfing around Hyves (Dutch facebook), texting etc. It's just that that's just one side to it.

Btw 2, when are you going to be on the chat again, ZS? Same goes for NSD. Writing this makes me miss those conversations. Lol.
