The two coaches I want to see gone are Campen and Slocum. And I want a better offensive line.

These aren't new complaints. I say them every week.

Wade. For harping on Collinsworth constantly.

And yes, Slocum. And don't get another guy from inside the organization. Might be a flew in the philosophy on STs from the top down. We've been signing and drafting players on their STs abilities and we still can't get it done. No more assistents of an underperforming coach.

And Campen must be one heck of a guy, seeing that he's still around.

I don't think there's much of a precedence for firing position coaches mid-season. Unless you're a coordinator (see SF OC) or a HC I think you usually stay employed until the postseason assessments. Well, so long as you don't trip a punt return gunner on the sideline.

Campen and Slocum gone...scrap the ZBS, and draft mean mothers for the OL that can get us a yard when we need it. Build the OL around the nasty aggression of Sitton.

You're very much right, but this isn't something that popped up last year. He survived the cuts when McCarthy chopped the entire defensive staff in 2008. He then survived the cuts again after his line almost got an embarrassing "most sacks in a season given up" record in 2009.

no i agree with you and digs. I think Campen saved his butt with the way the OLine turned it around in the 2nd half when we had Clifton and Tauscher bringing stability to the line.

This year the ZBS, for the most part pass protection, run game, grinding out 3rd and 1 when we need it - all have been awful so I'm all for him getting canned. I'm just saying I understand how he avoided being fired to this point.
