Good story Haze. Personally, I've never been called an angel before, but I've had plenty of stories someone calling me God! 🙂

Hazer.. I agree that some in this world have forgotten how to take a moment from this "Me first" culture to stop and help out another in need.

Even when it seems like the logical thing to do.. many will not.

Taking that extra little effort in life brings those quiet little treasures of time to one.

What I call a square deal in life.

Anyway.. +1 to you for making a difference in this world.

This proves there are still nice, caring people in the world, and most of them are Packer fans. Kudos to you dhazer and may your Christmas be as merry and bright as the family you helped.

BTW, I'd be on the lookout for Packers Finland. I hear that those Finnish Christmas trees are awfully sharp needled. Keep the cheeks tight.

+1 to you my friend. A fantastic story but truly fitting for the holidays. Hopefully we can all learn something from your ability to be instinctively caring and helpful.

I was heading out to Walmart to do some shopping today and did what I thought was a common sense thing and got hugs and called an angel by complete strangers.

I was heading out on the divided highway when I saw a car in the opposite lane suddenly take a sharp turn and slammed right into the center barrier. I quickly pulled over as did the guy in front of me. I got out of my Jeep and yelled to him to call 911 I'll check on the driver. The car was blocking both lanes on the highway with the drivers side facing oncoming traffic. I got to the car and saw the lady crying in the front seat and noticed a small girl in the child seat in the back. I asked her if she was hurt and she said her arm and shoulder hurt. I reached in and shut the car off because there was smoke coming from the motor. I asked her if she could walk and she said yes. I told her I was going to get her out and have her sit in my jeep and she agreed. I had to pry the door open (the whole time watching over my shoulder hoping no car is going to fly up and slam into us) she got out and I went into the back seat and grabbed her daughter and carried her over the barrier and into my jeep. She was crying still and said she just went shopping for presents for her daughter, so I got out of the jeep and went and grabbed the presents and put them in the jeep. She was in so much shock she couldn't remember her mothers cell number but could remember her grandmothers. So I let her use the cell to call. Finally the ambulance got there and they eventually took her away.

Well when I finally got done being questioned by the dickhead cop I went to Walmart. I was walking around and all I could think of was her crying and saying how is she going to be able to afford another car. That's when I walked over to the card section and found a christmas card walked to the counter and bought a $25 gift card for inside. I wrote inside that things may seem bad now but these times are only stepping stones to get over the wall of life. Also remember if you have family and friends things will always be ok.

Well I ended up driving to the hospital and walked into the ER and asked the nurse if the lady from the car accident was still there and of course she asked why and I told her because I knew she was down in the dumps and I bought her a christmas card to try and brighten her day. The nurse started to cry and told me to hold on, then she came back and had me follow her back to the room. When all of a sudden I heard Mom Dad thats the guy that helped me. I told them I seen she was feeling down and I bought her a christmas card. The mother and father both got up and came over and hugged me and said thank you we knew there were still angels in this world. I started to tear up so I said I had to go and to have a merry christmas.

I never got the lady's name but to me what I did was no big deal, I saw someone in need and stopped and helped them. But after looking back I find it amazing how many people just passed right by when I was trying to help her without even stopping.

So folks remember sometimes when you do something you think is no big deal, others may think its a huge deal. I was raised to always help out and maybe by me doing this today will in turn help someone else down the line.

Hopefully I helped make this family's christmas a little bit merrier this year.

I just shoveled 6 inches of new snow into the parking spot my neighbor usually parks his truck in. Got called an A--Hole! That's close to Angel, isn't it?

A couple days ago i was in the local Target parking lot......i saw a woman walking with her little girl, and the woman was crying. I asked her if she was ok,....she said "Yes". I asked "Are you sure?" She smiled and said "Yes".
It still bugs me......i wanted to help, but had no idea why she was crying, or what i could have done to help.

beast (now) : We already have told you... if Packers lose all their games (they won't, but if they did), and Buccaneers and Falcons win all theirs
Zero2Cool (1m) : I posted it in that Packers and 1 seed thread
Zero2Cool (4m) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (8m) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (9m) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (10m) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (19m) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (25m) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (27m) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (28m) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (30m) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (39m) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (45m) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (48m) : Packers will get in
beast (49m) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (55m) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (55m) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (2h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (3h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (3h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (4h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (13h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (14h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (17h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : rough injury for tank dell. guy can't catch abreak
beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating
Zero2Cool (20-Dec) : There is a rule that if your name starts with 'b' you lose 15 points. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just enforce them!
wpr (20-Dec) : and then there is Beast. Running away with it all.
beast (20-Dec) : As of tonight, 3 way tie for 2nd in Pick'em, that battle is interesting!
beast (20-Dec) : Lions vs Vikings could be the main last game as it could determine division winners or #1 vs #2 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Apparently, the editing is what pieces comments together. That Ted thing ... fake news.
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : LaFleur "opportunity that Ted Thompson thought was too good to pass up"
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.
Mucky Tundra (19-Dec) : Kyle Shanahan on signing De'Vondre Campbell as a FA last offseason: “We obviously made a mistake.”
