I had minimal hopes for this guy, and granted only 1 game, but he just seems to always be falling forward and making an extra 1-2 yards after contact unlike BJack. Also seems to find the hole and get to the line so much quicker.

Totally agree. Other thing I liked: he seemed to hit the hole intent on going north/south, whereas B-Jack at times can start to dance a little too much.

Someone pointed out that today was the first time they remembered Packers play-action actually causing defenses to bite this season. I agree, and you have to give credit in part to Starks for making the run a somewhat credible threat.

Was hoping Starks would get 20+ carries in his debut. He looked good. Not a runner to the outside at all, but solid runner up the middle.

He's probably big (and fast) enough to line up at TE.

Definately like what I see so far. Has me more excited than I've been the last few years. Surprised to see his size. Smaller than I expected. Did not watch much footage of his college play.

Well we didn't run him to the outside much i only seen us hand him off outside like once or twice but he defiantly runs well in between the tackles.

Runs a little too high.

This the kind of back we need, positive yards per carry and no tap dancing at the L.O.S. Would like to see what he brings in the passing game as well. If he pans out, it will be kind of interesting to see what we do next season with Grant and BJackson.

I was about to write something about this too. He doesn't need to be a 100 yard/game back, but you need a viable running THREAT for play action and to load the box some more, and lets be honest, Kuhn/Bjack never provided this threat.

We have to keep reminding ourselves this is only 1 game vs. a 4-8 team, but still VERY promising start for Starks!

Ya ik he can the packers don't seem to run to the outside much anyways so in the future he could be a threat to the outside.
