Anybody starting to wonder about our strength and conditioning coaches or program.

Seems like a high number of muscle and ligament issues this season.. even guys that aren't hitting the IR.

I think it's just bad luck.
Getting to the point where we won't be able to overcome the injuries.

It's rediculous.

S, Anthony Levine from practice squad? With bush playing as the #3 S last Sunday it would make sense.

We have 8 healthy LBs on the active roster, so i dont know that bringing one up from the PS is a sure thing, maybe sign a street FA tight end?

[Edit] NM, Wilhelm is listed as the backup at both ILB spots, so only 7. In which case bringing Francois up would seem logical.

It is OK. All will be fine. This has a positive side as well.

If there was no winter in Green Bay the spring would not be nearly as enjoyable. Adversity will show this team who their real future teammates are.

Plus... When they win it all, this adversity will make it taste ever so sweet, and ever more remarkable.

Coach of the year. Super Bowl Champions. NFL Executive of the year.

There comes a time when all of the cosmic tumblers click into place and the universe opens up just for a moment to show all that is possible.

Yep... A Field Of Dreams Quote

This team has all of that and a great deal more.

Seriously wondering what the record for the team with the most people on IR to win the SB. If we win it this year, I bet we slaughter the record. Of course, not a record to be proud of. This really sucks. :(

Well, I've been a big Nick Barnett fan since '03 and it just sucks the first time in the 2010s we win the SB, he's on IR.

Not really. I'd tend to chalk situations like this up to bad luck. We didn't deal with this volume of injuries last year.

Look around the rest of the league and you will find similar situations. Last year key injuries plagued the Bears. This year they're relatively healthy. Last year the Colts were moderately injured, this year they've been plagued.

I think it's just the game of football.

We're also to the point where only 5 games remain, so guys are being IR'd that might not have been if we were sitting in the early goings of the season.

I personally don't make the connection from injuries to training staff.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

I also think it is bad luck. In the past, we've had good years and bad years with the same strength and conditioning staff.

Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
