I was watching the game at the Orange Moose Bar in River Falls with about 20 fellow packer fans...

It's just great when instead of cheering for packer success/vikings self-implosion that everyone collectively laughs! The penalty on the longwell fg penalty and subsequent reaction in the bar was priceless!

Short of winning a super bowl, today was the best I will ever feel during/after a packer victory!

On a packer/WI related note...I now live in Va but managed to be back in WI for this game...what fun it was to be surrounded by fellow packer fans, if only for 1 game!

Yeah there are too many conversations going on for me to really follow on the chat and watch the game. For the same reason, I like to watch games either with my dad, brother, or alone. I don't like a lot of accessory conversation that causes me to miss things. Also, I feel that I cannot be the full fan that I am if other people are around.

I make mistakes all the time, just ask Nonstopdrivel, I just wanted to rib you a little šŸ˜‰ I envy that you were able to watch with a bunch of Packers fans, that would have been awesome! In North Dakota, there are as many Vikings fans as there are cows. Ridiculous.

I make mistakes all the time too. Almost all my posts that are longer than a sentence or two are edited multiple times.

The odd thing is I more often notice my mistakes when other people quote my posts than I do in the original posts themselves.

The only mistake I've made lately is doubting my Packers. How ridiculously good would we be right now if we still had Grant and Finley? I left out Barnett for a reason, no way he gets his job back with Bishop playing like he is.

I'm not convinced we would be better. Perhaps Rodgers would still be over-reliant on Finley instead of completing passes to 7 different receivers, as he did yesterday.

peterlan...at least you have SOME packer backers. I've met about 5 packer backers in VA, and what's worse is that the GAME OF THE WEEK next week won't be on the local networks because the f'n skins are playing the queens at the same time. Off to the bar/internet feed for me.

I noticed the same thing nonstop...in another thread I had some awful errors and can't even figure out how to use 'an' but only realized this when quoted. I made it beyond 6th grade, I swear!

For the most part, I agree. I noticed this in parts of the Miami game where the offense seemed to have a better flow when Aaron's first read wasn't always #88. I think the drop off at TE is a little more than you'd like, but it has been a bit of a blessing in disguise.

I think the Bishop point is an interesting one that was discussed on the radio yesterday. Bishop was apparently unhappy with how slow the Packers moved him along, and then Barnett and Hawk won't want reduced PT/salaries...so who is around year?

I know 3 Packers fans in Bismarck. They are all women. No offense 4PackGirl. They asked me today how the game went yesterday because I am wearing my Matthews jersey, and they asked who we played. So I don't really have any Packer Backers here.

In regards to watching the games, though, I am extremely lucky there. The Bills game was the only one that I have had to watch on the computer, all others have been broadcast in my area. The league has done a pretty good job with having Packers and Vikings games at different times so that both teams can be broadcast locally.

And yet there were a number of people on this very board who ridiculed that notion when it was pointed out that the secret to defeating the Vikings is not shutting down Adrian Peterson but rather limiting the effectiveness of Brett Favre.

Can I go on record as one of those who espoused that ridiculed notion and say "Um, told ya so!" please?

P.S. for any of you possibly avoiding chat because of me I don't sign into the chat anymore. I realized that I'm much better off shouting and cheering to myself. šŸ˜‰

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.
