Exactly Chutzpah. The thing is, nobody can predict where injury strikes. so we're best off getting the best player that's on the board. Of course within reason. If all six or seven of our picks are where the BPA is a long snapper, we're not going to draft nothing but long snappers.

LOL +1.

No, last year we had such a need at OT there was little chioce but to draft a OL in the first round. (luckily Bulaga fell in the draft) However, this year there seems to be no glaring immediate need, giving Ted Thompson, and company, more freedom with the first and second round picks.

Just wait untill Jenkins is gone next year and every team will have Clay in quadruple coverage.

A glaring need might be somewhat of an overstatement after this game, but yeah, OLB.

So you think Jenkins is as good as gone?

Why aren't more of you declaring RB as a known need for us? Will Grant be back next year? Are our current RB's good enough? I think RB is our CLEAR and top priority. Everyone else, we're serviceable to excellent, with depth in some of those areas.

RB is our largest gap. I don't know what the team make up will be in the spring and who we'll sign and won't, yet I would target RB, OL as a focus, and seriously consider the best player available. It is a pleasure to have to so few glaring holes.

Good vision, acceleration, speed. A little wiggle, but no dancer. Not afraid to hit the defender. Looks like someone who'd fit in here.

Timmons - I don't think a running game is that necessary. You need it. It's nice to have. You just need it to be "good enough" though to take some heat off of Aaron so Aaron could do his magic.

I've been a big Grant supporter and yes, Grant will be back next year. Jackson has shown he's a good 3rd down back. I watched the MN game and our game last night. Favre got rocked because AP can't block worth a damn. Jackson on the other hand picked up blitzes and stopped the blitzers dead in their tracks last night. Great job by Jackson.

People don't realize just how important it is for a RB to be able to do that. Jackson is underrated in that category. He's a dang good blocker. AP on the other hand couldn't block my Grandma if she came in on a blitz.

And Kuhn, he's not going to get you those 20+ yard runs. He will however hurt the guy tackling him. He does a good job "softening" up the defenders.

So when Grant comes back next year, we'll be in good shape in the RB department. We're currently in "good enough" shape.
