Well we do have Williams and Shileds as younger CBs as well as Lee and Underwood. Usually teams keep 5 CBs... with Woodson and Harris that makes 6...

I think the Packers need to focus at RB, OL, DE, OLB and if Bishop isn't back maybe ILB.

We DO have Williams (who is solid) but Shields has not really proven himself IMO (even taking into consideration that he is a rookie) and Underwood isn't great, but then again, he may get better. It is a bit of a gamble because we have so much youth in our backfield behind Harris and Woody. I do however have confidence in our defensive coaching staff. Without a solid staff, our defense could not possibly be as potent as they are with so many injuries this year. Kudos to Dom and the gang.

Well according to the CB coach... the solid CB (Williams) is playing as the best CB this year... and Shields has been playing pretty dang well.

Is Shield perfect? No ... but what rookie is? He's pretty good still.

BPA. That's not a cop out post. It's what we need.

Our CBs are getting old. Not sure when Shields is gonna be ready, but Woody's not going anywhere soon. I agree with BPA, but I suuuuure wouldn't mind a stud OLB.

Yup, BPA sounds about right to me.

If you look at the IR list being back next year, we have too many starters.

With how the backups have been stepping up. Not a bad position to be in.

There are no "desperate" needs on this team, so draft the best player available.

Exactly Chutzpah. The thing is, nobody can predict where injury strikes. so we're best off getting the best player that's on the board. Of course within reason. If all six or seven of our picks are where the BPA is a long snapper, we're not going to draft nothing but long snappers.

LOL +1.

No, last year we had such a need at OT there was little chioce but to draft a OL in the first round. (luckily Bulaga fell in the draft) However, this year there seems to be no glaring immediate need, giving tt, and company, more freedom with the first and second round picks.

Just wait untill Jenkins is gone next year and every team will have Clay in quadruple coverage.

A glaring need might be somewhat of an overstatement after this game, but yeah, OLB.
