What makes this bazaar is how they traded to get him and didn't use him. This is on Chilly. And I'm starting to get on the bandwagon that if he doesn't pull his crap together that he's gotta go.

Starting to? I know Viking fans that have wanted Chilly's nuts on the barbeque for years now. He is not head coaching material in this league, end of discussion. I know you feel compelled to defend your team's decision but let it go man, just let it go.

The majority of Viking fans that have wanted Chilly out have been cheering against the Vikes since Chilly's arrival (the ones I've met/talked to). So they don't count. The fact of the matter is, since Chilly has been here, prior to this year, his teams have progressed, not regressed, in the W-L category. This year is definitely the exception to the rule.
I'm not saying his day-to-day coaching mindset is flawless. But the teams he has assembled, drafted, and put together have been very exceptional. Hell, the man has 2 rookie of the year award winners in his 4 1/2 year tenure as the Vikings coach. One of the ROY was passed on by a more than a few teams because of his past. Now the kid is a bona-fide NFL stud, despite his migraines.
The guy would be a much better coach, IMO, if he would lose his control freak tendencies and call some more PA/counter run plays (read: Make his play-calling a bit more imaginative). This is where he's lost a few fans support, and is starting to lose mine.
To blatantly call him out as a non-NFL head coach during his first stint as a head coach is premature. And from your point of view, that's more wishful thinking than anything else. I'm hoping hes the Vikings version of Bill Beli-cheat, or the Cows' Jimmy Johnson, or the Stillers' Bill Cowher. He just has to figure his learning curve, go through his bumps, take his lumps and learn from them. As far as right now, it's not looking like he is. I hope I'm wrong.
