From Mike Vandermause's post game column. I love Woodson's mentality. His play may be down this year but his brains and attitude are good for a young team.

The Jets entered the game tied for the best record in the NFL. They were riding a five-game winning streak, and their coach proclaimed them the best team in the league. They were well rested coming off a bye, while the Packers were injury depleted and barely had enough healthy players to scrape together a 45-man active roster.

Woodson wasnt hearing any of it.

That doesnt matter, he said. We are a good football team. Yeah, weve had some injuries and some games havent gone our way, but underdogs we are not.

This was one of woody's better games this season didn't make to many mistakes if any,he got a pick and was great in run support.

He's always great in run support. I know, I shouldn't take that for granted. But I kind of do. It's what I expect.

Woody is one of the best tacklers on the team, perhaps the best.

All I can say is I'm going to be majorly pissed if Woody's not in the Hall within 10 years after his retirement. One of the best all-around defensive players I've ever seen and I've watched a lot of football since 1976.
