Really??? I stopped by because I figured we'd be celebrating a win over a tough opponent in their home stadium. Really? We're discussing benching Rodgers? Really???

Going into the game, the Jets were tied for the best record in the league (5-1), had two weeks to prepare for the game, and have one of the better defenses in the league (4th in scoring defense) with the top turn-over ratio in the league (14 takeaways to 4 giveaways).

Toss in the less-than-ideal wind conditions and shocked, shocked I am that our offense sputtered. Bench them. Bench them all!

I said this before the season started - the Jets have the best D in the NFL. We had 4 FG drives against them. We scored on 3 of them.

Sure, only 9 points with our high powered O. But historically, elite D beats elite O. Not all the time, but generally speaking, that's how it goes.

What really impressed me about the game (I only saw half of it as my wife and I really had to eat, we were out drinking heavily last night at a private party) is that our D was superb for what we saw. The Jets couldn't do anything. We shut them out.

This is a win to celebrate. The Jets are one of the top 4 teams in the NFL. We beat them. We shut them out.

If anyone's not happy after this game, I don't know what to say. Honestly, you might want to consider smoking some marijuana. I heard it works wonders for chronic depression.

"Should of" pisses me off every time, too.

Considering what I see on sports forums I would be surprised if more than 10% of the general population knew "should of" is wrong.

As for the topic, Nerdman your first post was one of the most spastic I've seen this season. Calm down.

I would like to rewatch the game too but from my first viewing it seems our receiving group really let us down today. Rodgers wasn't great today, but he didn't force anything and he put some balls out there that should have been caught. The Jones one really hurt as he should have had that and it should have been a touchdown. Jennings I think completely misjudged another deep ball and got himself turned around on one that would have been a big gain and possibly a score. Quarless dropped what would have been a first down.

I felt the offensive line protected Rodgers well. He generally had plenty of time to go through his progressions. That said, I think that is what makes the receiving performance even more disappointing. It seems no one was getting open as Rodgers had to throw it away every other play in the first half. Then again, maybe they were getting open and Rodgers wasn't finding them.

I myself have no complaints. A shut out win at the Jets to me is an awesome result

I'm sure you could have thought of better ways to say it, but that's beside the point.
