I still have some love for the old man.

I really wish the crowd hadn't booed him walking off the field. I can understand them booing him when he came out, but come on. It's the man's last game at Lambeau. Give him some love when he's walking off.

I almost got emotional watching him talking to the players for the Packers. Especially when Donald Lee ran him down.

I just hope that when it's all said and done, Brett Favre is loved and remembered as a Green Bay Packer.

I do admit it was odd seeing him walk off like that..

Maybe if I was in that part of the stadium, I would have cheered.. I dont know..

I wonder how many of those fans regret booing him? I'm betting a lot of those fans were just ecstatic that the Packers finally won a close game and it happened to be against Brett who torched us twice last year.

I'd say quite a few of them wish they could do that over.

Edit, I just watched it again, for a second and third time. You know, there's an awful lot of cheering going on there. I heard more cheering than booing.

Cheer the man later, when he retires as a Packer. At that moment, he was a division rival that could have drastically hurt the Packer's chances at the playoffs, and almost did.

I'm not saying I would boo him necessarily, but I can certainly understand why one wouldn't cheer him. Time will mend things.

Also, a lot of people have lost respect for him. When a player is / was of the status of Favre, emotions run high on both sides of the coin, both good and bad. It doesn't really matter if it's fair or not. Life often isn't.

The best thing for Favre and Packer fans would be for him to just go away for awhile. But at this point, he is what he is, a talented division rival and defending NFC North Champion.

I would not have booed him, but I definately would not have clapped or cheered. As long as he wears that Purple uniform, he is the enemy, and should be treated as suck.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I felt the same way. I understand and agree with booing as he comes out, but as he leaves? I don't get it.

It is nice to see so many of you using Christian values and turning the other cheek.

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season

dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : FG to make it academic
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : and there's the dagger
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooo 8 point game with 4 minutes to go!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : ooooooooohhhhhh he missed!
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Ooooo that completion makes things VERY interesting
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Game not over yet
beast (21-Jan) : Oh yeah, Georgia starting quarterback season ending elbow injury
beast (21-Jan) : Sadly something happened to Georgia... they should be playing in this game against Ohio State
beast (21-Jan) : I thought Ohio State and Texas were both better than Notre Dame & Penn State
