AJ Hawk led The defense with 11 combinations(6 tackles/5 assists) in week 7, followed by D. Bishop and C. Wilson(8...5/3), and Peprah with 6 solo tackles.

Throw in Hawks interception (#2 on the season), and the fact that he has become the QB of the defense, I have to give AJ a B+ for the night.

He did get blocked out of the Harvin TD run, but IMHO that play caught the whole defense by surprise.

Although giving up 196yds rushing, The Packer D came up big when they needed to, the team as a whole finally got some breaks and calls to go their way, it wasn't pretty, but it was a much needed win!!!

With the craziness that is the NFC this year, any victory is a good one!!!
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Props to A.J. for hanging onto that interception. For a big musclebound guy, he can catch the ball pretty well. That is not something to be taken for granted. A dropped interception can easily be the difference between a win and a loss. I loved the run after the catch, too. Maybe he should return kickoffs.

Anybody notice the run play that Hawk sacrificed himself so Woodson and Bishop could make a stop? Hawk saw the play coming but the RB was not yet there, so Hawk instigated contact with Hutch who was pulling to get infront of the play. He could have chosen to give up his assignment and go for the tackle but he rightfully decided to eat lead blocker.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!
