I normally wouldn't make a comment like this, but................

I think the next 2 games are our season. Both at home, one against our division rival (screw the bears). The key for me is getting to the bye week with our record over 500. After the bye week, we should last year's starting strong safety and cornerback back. Other players will have a chance to heal, etc. So with that in my mind, we need to win both these home games! That way if we lose the next 2 after that we can go into the bye 5-4. After the bye, we can then make the big push. "Discuss" (he said immating a 50 year old Jewish Woman from New York......for those of you who do not get thr reference. For example, "Rhode Island is neither a road nor an Island....Discuss")...yes I am feeling a little veklempt

Our season is not over until it's theoretically impossible for us to get in the playoffs. Two losses leads to, 3-4. 12-4 is easily a playoff spot.

Our next 2 games are not our season.

It's a dumb thing that's said every year. We're not even at the halfway mark and are ABOVE .500

Calm down.

Yeah, we're super banged up and not playing quality ball either but there's SO much time to turn it around, these next 2 games won't even be remembered in December.

It's a long season. Nothing will be decided, one way or another, in the next two games.

We dropped to 4 - 4 last year losing to a hapless Buccaneers team. Are season was over.

Well I wasn't going to say anything but since we have to "discuss" I will.

Can't say that 2 games makes our season for the very reason you mentioned. If the PUP players come back strong we would be a different team than the one that, in theory, lost those two upcoming games.

I think it's important to get to the bye week .500 or better.

If we don't, it's still not the end of the world, but it will make for a lot more critical games in the 2nd half of the season.

MM's teams need to start showing up consistently, or his career will be over. It wouldn't hurt him to eke out a victory against Favre either.

WOW...guess I am the only one. I was just saying this from the prospective of a Super Bowl. Sure 9-7 could make the playoffs but I am thinking Super Bowl 13-3 / 12-4 area. Since I am the only one, I will shut up now. I think we can all agree the sky is blue...no red.....aaahhh cr@p. BTW this just in, Ahmad Carroll still sucks 🙂. Remember, if you cannot laugh at yourself, then laugh at someone else.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
