Would our offense actually be better off with Flynn? Bear with me.
Last year when Kampy went down, I said we might be better off with Jones, just due to his skill set. Everyone thought I was nuts and called me an asshole. Well I am nuts and I am an asshole. But that doesn't mean I was wrong.
With Flynn is in there, Mike McCarthy isn't going to expect him to carry the team. It's not gonna be throwing 30 yards downfield constantly. It's not gonna be 85-15% pass to run ratio. It's gonna be MOVING THE CHAINS. It's gonna be HIGH PERCENTAGE PASSING. Lord in heaven we might even see some screens, although I wouldn't count on it. But there would be a running game.
Flynn could get it done too. He'd be playing within himself. He's be playing within the system. We'd have a balanced attack, and he'd have tons of weapons to work with. Maybe Greg Jennings would even get involved. He can scramble if necessary too, btw.
Just seems like Rodgers is getting a little Favresque lately, especially throwing the ball up like he has been.
So, attack away, my brothers. Yes, I am nuts. Yes, I am an asshole.

You're nuts, asshole.

Aaron Rodgers has not played up to expectations, but he's not the cause of our offensive woes.

Wo wo wo man dont go that far flynn has improved ik but rodgers is better than him and we have a better chance with arod than flynn im srry were not doing that bad that we would go with flynn.

Edit:only way fylnns seeing the field is if arod is hurt.

With what you said, I think the team can win with Flynn. They won't be better. But I do agree that this may be the slap McCarthy needs. Last year he started with deep slow patters, and didn't adjust until midseason.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I see your point as well, but what you are describing is a major flaw in our head coach. If the way to move us down the field is short, high percentage throws and McCarthy fails to call those plays, then he is a failure as a head coach and he is our problem, not Rodgers. We are much better off with Rodgers behind center.

Again its not the playcalling..... Its the offense not executing the plays stop blaming Mike McCarthy its just pretty idiotic that you guys think were 3-2 because of MM.Its a team game coachs get credit for what they do as much as players do.We could have the greatest coach in the NFL and still be doing as bad as we are its the players that need to step up more so than the coachs.Im tired of hearing people bitch about how Mike McCarthy is doing a bad job because hes not.

How many deep passes did Green Bay have yesterday? Didn't the bulk of their yardage come on the short passing plays?

Is it possible that spread formations and WCO philosophy aren't incongruent -- but rather they work towards the same cause?

Wasn't yesterday's game the only example of anything approaching 85% passes this year?

Why are you a nutty asshole? 😉
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.
