Maybe the offense has some sort of tell.

We do seem play the same things over and over again and when I'm calling the play before it happens, its not a good thing. I'm not that smart.

You answered my next question NSD, about whether this nosedive is because of something like letting stardom get into his head or a factor like he is having to overcompensate for something else.

I agree the O-line play is piss poor, and I have focused most of my attention on them this season. I think Fox showed a stat in the 2nd half that in something like 35 throws, Aaron had been knocked down 7 times, hurried 6 times, and sacked 2 times. These obviously are not the exact numbers, but it was apparent that he was on his heels quite often.

Not to mention that defenses are harder to throw when they know the coach isn't going to call a run. Rodgers has almost checked to as many runs as McCarthy has called.

Is there an easy-to-access source of data on such statistical measures as hurries, hits, and knockdowns? If it exists on NFL.com, I'm not finding it.

Your best bet would be profootball focus, or pro-football-reference.com. The former is no longer free to use, and the latter is run like a Wikipedia page with a bunch of different stats (not fan-edited, that was my error).

The latter might be fruitful, although you may need to invest time into finding under what category the stats are located.

Excellent. I think those numbers would paint a far more accurate picture of just how bad our offensive line is playing than the sack totals alone.

http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?offensiveStatisticCategory=OFFENSIVE_LINE&archive=false&d-447263-o=2&qualified=true&tabSeq=2&role=TM&d-447263-p=1&d-447263-s=PASSING_QBHIT&d-447263-n=1

That actually has the official QB hits an O-line has allowed stat for each team. It is the very last category on the right side. It lists 17 hits, though I am not sure if it has been updates through week 5.

Stats are typically not updated until after the Monday Night Football game.

The O-line was not playing well and Rodgers did not trust them at all. As soon as a tiny bit of a rush appeared, Rodgers panicked and tried to scramble out of the pocket and often he just ran into a defensive player when it was unnecessary.
