There are many takes on what exactly to take away from the Lions game. There seems to be three general opinions about the game. I think the Lions are a better team than their record indicates, however the Packers demonstrated some very serious problems throughout the game.

Hm, my post got deleted. Anyway, I personally think the Lions are better than people give them credit for. However, I didn't see this game, so I don't have a strong opinion one way or the other.

Three reasons I call bullshit on this absurd statement.

One, I despise deleting posts, especially randomly.
Two, I'm the only one with the functionality to delete a post that's not a thread starter.
Three, Checking the database and the post number of this quoted post is 161944 and the one prior is 161943 which happens to be my "28 - 17" post in the game thread.

The likely scenario, you didn't submit it and thought you did, or the stupid ass lame pathetic server failed to recognize you submitted a post.

I assure you, you're post was not deleted as it was not submitted for whatever reason.

Edit, or what Shawn said lol.

Or said poster viewed his post prior to posting it... and accidentally hopped to another thread.. I know I personally have done that.. ;)

Generally I preview the post to ensure that the grammer/spelling/typo Gestapos don't get there nuts loose on one of my posts.. even though I personally hate that crap.

Anyway.. I said it before the regular season and especially after this weekend.. the Lions are rapidly erasing the hole Millen left in that franchise.. and hole is an understatement.. Billick said it best... almost criminal. Wonder how Millen took that in the studio.. lol.

I went with option #2. Sure, the Lions are improved, but they were without their starting QB and their #2 WR, and their starting RB was playing hurt. I was especially disappointed that the Packer receivers had trouble getting open in key situations against a secondary that is supposedly awful. I'm glad that they got the win, though, and the game did end on a big up note with that long drive to kill the clock.

A wins a win man wining in the nfl is harder than it looks. The lions are better and hey it was a ugly win but that last drive by are offense was great and we "won" that game idc if the lions almost beat us we got a win and we are 3-1.

KUHN! The drive the Packers put together to end the game was surprising and gave me a different kind of confidence about the offense. No doubt they'll have to put more drives like that later this season.

I'm just kidding. My cousin and Dad (Bears fans) says a win is a win every time the Bears have a cheap win. They said it twice after the Packers loses to the Bears in '07, The Lions game week one, and the loss two weeks ago. Bears fans celebrate every occasional win they get against quality teams, even if their team looked terrible in the process.

Opinion 'A" was exactly was my cousin said to me after the Packers lost to the Bears.
