The more I think of it the more I think I would make that trade(a 2 and a 4). With the thought, the future is now, we're in a position to make a SB run. That isn't always the case. Would we be overpaying some, yes. My thoughts are he is worth a 2nd, and the 4th(5th,6th whatever) gets the trade done. We need him now so he is ready when we get into the meat of the schedule. We turn our weakest area into a strong area. We're ready for our playoff run. I think our payoff is worth it.

Relying on a 6th rd pick that hasn't played a down because of injury is very risking at best. And by the time he is ready it will be too late to do anything.

In one of the Badger forums I read, the ASU fans were not very high on Nance. They were surprised he even made a practice sqad. Their take was if you need 2 or 3 yards he's decent but he'll never get you any more. Didn't like to hear that, but based on it I wouldn't count on him for anything.

You could also say that Lynch's PT skyrocketed from the packers game on, which in my mind looks like there just trying to get as much trade value as possible at this point.
