His name hasn't been called much for good or for bad, but man, I just don't trust Poppinga in there. I'd almost rather have Zombo...
Any word on what the injury is and/or how severe?

"LB Brad Jones and NT B.J. Raji left with knee injuries but returned. S Nick Collins left at the end of the game with a hip flexor. Coach Mike McCarthy said he didn't think any of the injuries would linger. Looks like the Jones injury could be the most problematic. He gave way to Brady Poppinga late in the game and was limping pretty badly off the field."

Hopefully his injury isn't that bad. Do you have anymore specifics on the knee injury?

Jones played solid IMO.. but after he got bent backwards in a pileup, he didn't have the same effect.

Jones isn't Matthews.. but he certainly offers more than Poppinga does IMO.

After the start CM3 is having surely he will get double teamed almost every snap from now on.

This is the time we need Jones to step up on the other side and take advantage of all the attention Matthews is getting.

Jones doesnt need to have the same impact as CM3, as he isnt used in the same way. I look at him mostly as a safety, if i dont notice him, he isnt doing a bad job.
You rarely see a 3-4 defence with 2 OLB with same production, because cordinators use them differently because they have different skill sets most of the time.

When they try to double Clay, they have to take a double team away from Pickett or Raji. Those guys will push a single lineman back into the QBs lap if they try to double Clay.

Plus all they have to do is move Clay around. Since he is a LB, he is more mobile than a DE. Like the sack he got in the psycho. He looped around to the inside and Hawk and Chiller went to the left.
I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
