It wasn't called last week because there cannot be a roughing the passer penalty when he fumbles the ball.

The call on the Saints was roughing the passer, NOT a face mask penalty. You can't touch the qb in the face, unless he fumbles, then he is fair game. It was borderline whether or not the Cardinals should have been called for a facemask penalty. But since Rodgers fumbled, there cannot be a roughing the passer penalty.

Saw it. Must be different if the QB actually throws the ball. That's the only difference between that and what happened last week.

After the way we lost last week, I say anything that helps the Saints is fair game in my book. The Cards got their freebies last week, so I really can't feel sorry for them. GO SAINTS!
